“Right now, The Orleans is definitely in transition. Firstly, all my encounters with employees were great. They're friendly and professional. For now, the difficulties that downgrade the usual experience are mostly linked to the renovations going on. From day to day, and sometimes hour to hour, I couldn't tell which elevators would access my floor and the security guards I spoke with didn't know which ones would work either. I had to enter and exit different elevator lifts multiple times. The of TGI Fridays is gone and there's no replacement yet, but Ondori was good. I'm also happy to see the Copper Kettle is back open, making it much easier to have breakfast in the morning. The room was clean enough. However, I did have trouble with upgrading my internet connection. Cox really dropped the ball on that one, as I got transferred around a number of times and then ended up being told the technician was going to escalate my ticket, but I never received a call back. The front desk was great about removing the charge for the internet upgrade that day and then confirmed the charge was removed when I checked out. I'll definitely be back. Even with the renovations going on, I've stayed here enough times that I know what it's usually like and their service providers are always great, making the stay more pleasant.”

“Stayed in the renovated section room was amazing very comfortable all of the staff that I have interacted with have been great. The only downside is location of maybe a shuttle service to bring you to some of the attractions taxi's and ubers can get a little spendy. The food options are good something sort of for everyone I especially liked baliwick the pork burnt ends were amazing I don't really like Mac and cheese but theirs was amazing”

“We stayed in room 350 facing the pool. The room was completely renovated and new. I would stay here over any 4 star property in Las Vegas. This room was beautiful and beige colors, new furniture, fixtures and super clean. Valet was quick and complimentary. Checked in at 2:30pm and no line at check in desk. Super friendly front desk staff. Asked me “do you want high floor or low floor?” I asked for low floor facing the pool and close to elevator and it was perfect. Big ALs Oyster was not busy and pretty good. Ondori Kitchen is outstanding. Room service was $73 for breakfast for 2 and two coffees. Pool and hot tub is super great every time. Nancy pool bartender was very nice. 5 beers (16oz) miller lite was $50 which is average for Vegas. Expect that to be $75 at Caesars pool. Summary: Amazing hotel, bowling alley, movie theater, food court, family friendly resort located near Allegiant Stadium and close to the strip without strip prices.”

“I only spent one night at New Orleans so I didn’t really get to get into the amenities, but the casino was really nice and so are the restaurants. It’s cool that they have a movie theater & a bowling alley on site though. I bought a film on the TV and the sound didn’t sync, but the staff took it off my bill which I appreciated. The hotel is undergoing renovations so I would really recommend booking a premium room or asking for a room upgrade at the front desk. The construction does start pretty early, but I wasn’t very close to it so it wasn’t too bad. The room rates are the best you will find near the strip right now, though because of it. I think the hotel will be really a lot better off for the renovation. My room was really cute and had a lot of charging ports, a fridge that wasn’t stocked with stuff, a coffee maker and they have room service that’s really affordable. The television was really big and the shower is a walk-in. I think they could use more amenities like a face wash or something to make it sparkle, but there were lots of towels and the beds are comfortable. I had made a reservation for the oyster bar on OpenTable, but it was their first day closing an hour early. The manager came out to see me and was very nice about it. So I went to the Ondor Asian Kitchen and got Tuna Tataki and shrimp dumplings. It was very good and open late! Simply because of all the construction, I wouldn’t expect your stay to be organized, but I did have a nice time.”
